Candy stripes

I apologise for the very crappy quality photos, my camera is very temperamental! But yeah I've painted my nails three different colours, all Barry M. The first was Berry, the second Mint Green and the last Lemon. To be honest, I'm not too sure about this, I don't think the colours work well together. I wanted to use light blue but I couldn't find it :( But that's the beauty of nail varnish, if you don't like it, you can just take it off and start again! Also two posts in one day, what is the world coming to?! x

I'm blue da ba dee da ba di

Hey all! My school's having a sponsered walk along the beach/sand dunes tomorrow to raise money for Christian Brothers' West Africa Mission, Claire House, Seel Street Mission and Jospice. We do the walk every year and everybody (well all the girls) just use it as an excuse to dress up and show off. As for me, I'mm too lazy to dress up when all we're doing is walking on some sand...so this a preview of what I'm going to wear (plus some jewellery and my rucksack). Does it look okay? Or is it far too simple?

Also I'm going to paint my nails two colours so pictures will be up once I'm finished! x

Say hello to duck satchel

Hey everybody! I was meant to be going to the beach today but the weather is all grey and murky so Ben and I are going to town instead to look for birthday presents for Katie. As you can tell, I'm dressed for comfort and warmth! I got this top from New Look a few years ago and I still love it! Also I painted my nail last night with Barry M Berry, sorry the terrible photo I tried to take of it!

Now the piece de resistance, my duck satchel! I bought this in Ladies Market last October in Hong Kong for $80 (about £7) and I'm actually in love with it! I use it for practically everything and it's literally always stuck to my arm! Be prepared to see alot of it this summer! Now I'm off out, have a great weekend! x

Home sweet home

The concentration on Rennie's face!

Hey all! I got back from Bath this evening after a lovely few days with my extended family. Sorry about the very photo heavy post :)

We stopped in Tewkesbury on our way there and bought some cherries, omnomnom. I seriously recommend visiting Bath, there are so many beautiful buildings and it's such a lovely place. On the first night we went to my aunt Geraldine's house for dinner and we had two cakes as it was my Great Uncle Edward's birthday and my Great Aunt Pat's last month. My cousin Rennie baked a cheesecake which was soo delicious I had it for breakfast the next morning!

On Wednesday everybody decided they wanted to go to Stonehenge. It was raining buckets and was practically hailing but we all drove two hours to Stonehenge (with a stop for jacket potatoes at a cafe along the way). I have to be honest, I was slightly disappointed by Stonehenge, I know I probably shouldn't say that as it's a great English momument and all, but it wasn't very interesting...

After we went to a pub in Widcombe for dinner. It was quite a quiet pub and we were definitely the rowdiest group there! Because my family is so big and is spread out all around the world, we don't see each other alot, but when we do we make the most of it! We started playing Chinese drinking games and my great aunts and my gran all started singing, I'm sure my cousin videoed it so I'll have to show you guys! It was hilarious!

Finally I bought these brogues from a little shop in Bath called The Bootmaker for £20 which I was pleased with. I'm quite a tomboy when it comes to shoes as I practically live in Converse and flipflops but be prepared to see these shoes alot in the next few months! Anyway it's late and I have school tomorrow *sigh* so goodnight! x

Get off your ass, let's do some math!

Sorry for the lack of actual post, I've got my Maths exam tomorrow so I've been revising and while I took some pictures at the weekend, I haven't had time to upload them yet. I promise it's the first thing I'll do when I get home on Thursday! I'm going to Bath for a family reunion straight after my exam tomorrow, even though I'm not meant to, my bad! I can't wait!

Also I've ordered the orange jeans from my previous post, at £12 they seemed a good buy! So thank you for all the lovely comments :) Anyway I have to go and pack so have a good week guys! x

Coloured jeans - advice? :)

Hey guys! I'm thinking of buying some coloured jeans for summer so I did a quick search on some shop websites and to be honest, there was alot less variety than I expected but I managed to find a few that were in my price range and I'd like your opinion on which you think I should get...

 These:

Dorothy Perkins £30

                                                                          or these:

Topshop £38-40

or these:

yesstyle.co.uk £12

I quite like the green pair from Topshop, just to say I don't usually shop in Topshop as I don't have the money and I think some cheaper high street shops are just as good but this was the only place I could find green jeans.

So, which pair do you like best? Have any of you guys got coloured jeans? And if so, where did you get them from?
Have a great weekend!x

£9.99 - H&M

£25 - Topshop

£5 - New Look

£12.99 - New Look

£16.99 - New Look

£6.99 - New Look

£3.99 - H&M
£20 - Topshop

Well I was looking through my wardrobe the other day and I was thinking I really would like to buy some new tops as most of the ones I own at the moment are quite old now and one or two are falling apart slightly (oh dear) so I had a look at some websites and these were a few I liked. I might even buy one or two of them, especially the palm tree H&M top. Also as for the orange tied New Look one, as nice as it is, I think I'd rather buy a baggy cheaper tshirt from a charity shop and cut it down, does anyone else do that?

Also good times, I found my My Chemical Romance CD the other day! It was underneath my bed (a clear sign I should tidy my room more) so I've had that on repeat alot today. This is one of my favourites and I've actually cried listening to it before.

And why did you fail GCSE Re...?

Answer: Because I spent the night before my exam making cupcakes for my friends Katie and Alice's birthdays even though I'd done absolutely no revision.

It doesn't matter I don't want to be a priest or anything to do with religion :) I made a special one for Big Al and a cupcake with a fringe for Katie because we always tease her about her fringe, shame Cupcake Katie has no other hair... Anyway I've included a picture of Katie (she's the one on the right) so you can see the resemblance!

Now I think I've wasted enough time so I'll go do some revision *sigh*...
